Postal strike
Postal strike
I saw some postmen standing at the picket line before i went on a bike ride the other day, and when i got back 4 hours later they were still there. It makes me very angry that they are behaving like this when there is a recession on. I have been out of work for a year, and here is them standing about doing nothing except protesting when they should be grateful that they have got those jobs in the first place as i like millions others are looking for work and can't find anything as jobs are being cut left right and centre. This is all the unions fault encouraging them to strike they should put up and shut up when there is over 2 million out of work i would be quite happy to do their job if they've got something to moan about!:guitarist
Postal strike
Royal Mail always take on extra staff over the Christmas period and quite often they'll keep folks on once Christmas is over too.
Apply for the position and tell them you disagree with striking. They'll love you.

I was being serious. If you're seriously looking for a job, Royal Mail always employ extra staff over Christmas.

I know that! I was reffering to u telling me to tell the postal workers that i didn't agree with the strike. Doesn't matter cos i take it u were having a joke about that. As regards to the Postal work i don't think i wud want to work for them as it is competive to get in i have tried before in the past and got nowhere and also i wud been annoyed if they just suddenly striked again there's no way i wud want to have to stand about doing bugger all all day while they try to sort their differences out!

I wasn't joking about that either. I'm sure that if you applied for a job there - AND told them you didn't agree with strike action - they would be more than happy to employ you.

If you were REALLY as desperate for a job as you said, you'd apply and apply . . . . .and keep on applying!
