Yesterday was the first day of my placement as part of my college course. I am known as a "trainee classroom assistant" at a HUGE primary school about 3 miles from home.I'm based in the special needs department and the kids are fantastic! It was a brilliant day! Rumour has it that I'm a big hit and the kids can't wait for me to come back tomorrow!

YAY!!

Thank you everyone. It is getting better by the day! I was only in for 90 minutes today and I had 2 classes. They all kept me on my toes. It got a little too noisey at one point with my group. I raised my voice a little bit to be heard.

They didn't like that ... but neither did I

I think I shall go back on Monday for more.
