Mascara

Ok Penelope Cruz has done it again and made me splash out on mascara. I know, i know, she wears false eyelashes in the ad but what can i say - i'm a mascara junkie.

So i invested in L'oreal telescopic explosion mascara (good name eh?)

Well i'm pleased to report its actually quite good. It does feel strange getting used to the new style brush but you definately dont get clumps, it separates the lashes and covers very evenly. i like it.

Whats your choice of mascara at the moment?

Oh i was wondering about that!,, so its good eh

At the moment im using Clinique high definition lashes,,, it has a brush on one side and a comb on the other,, i quite like it.

Oh ive tried that one too but felt the application was a bit irritating and you definately felt like you were wearing mascara. Do you not find it makes your lashes feel quite stiff? I like the idea of wearing mascara but not feeling like i am, know what i mean?

well depends on how much you put on :-2 I liek it ,, i likt the comb bit which i thought i wouldnt

Yes that's true i do use two coats for a more dramatic look.

If you like a natural look where the mascara still enhances try Chanel's Inimitable mascara. Its lovely.

One of my customers does refer to me as 'The Ripper' whilst being waxed.

Not hilariously funny but i did smile to her Jim as i did to mass scarer

For years I have used the purfume free waterproof one from the Hema ( sort of Dutch woolworths) it does not irritate, clump together or dry out in a week, it covers my lashes nicely but doesn't make me look like Danny la Rue and as with all thier products its not tested on animals. :-6

I've just started using max Factor 'False lash effect' mascara because I now have short pale lashes.....OK GREY.... I was influenced by a TV advert but I'm pleased with the end result

I just wondered if you had the same problem as me, the print on the bottle comes off in My hands!

They have always ended up as just a red container, no print at all. at first I thought it was a fluke but they've all gone the same way.

It really pee's me off having ink all over my hands, it's not as if its a cheap brand.

My older daughter always loved it when I'd go out and buy makeup as she usually got it all brand new a week later.

Yes Abbey the same thing happens here and your right its not a cheap brand.

Yes K mascara is the stuff you brush onto your eyelashes to enhance them.

I have such long eyelashes naturally that I hardly ever wear mascara.
