Welcome back SCRAT..!! :-6
ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

Are we suppose to guess your last job - the business that went belly up?

I say - Car Dealership ?? leave it to the Kid to run it into the ground. I've seen that happen many times..

I've been wondering where you've been..?

Good to see your back

Nothing much has changed with me other than I am currently unemployed/underemployed since the company I have worked almost 2 decades for went belly up under the fine leadership of the former owners sons. As we all expected.

Not to worry me and the wife are working on building our small business and this situation leaves me plenty of time to do that. No real money yet but then we aren't hurting. How's everyone else doing? I wondered where you went.

Welcome back :-6:-6

I know what ya' mean, Scrat... I finally got my old freelance consulting job back... it's only a few hours a week and I am writing now... I just got paid for my first article, in fact. I don't need the money anymore, either, but I need to do something, so I'm writing a novel and painting and for a few hours I do consulting work for an industrial manufacturer based around Detroit.

I've been spending some time around the shooting range, too... it does help! I know a number of folks around here need to do the same. :wah:

Anyway, it's good to see you back! Happy Holidays to you and your family! :D

Good to see you back. I think everybody is hurting except our politicians and bankers. Never mind maybe they'll realise you need industry to drive an economy and just shuffling money around doesn't actually work. Looks like UK banks are about to take another hit with abu dhabi. financial empires built on sand.
