I just wish that we had a "FG Lounge" to go to where we could really just hash out our issues with each other. I don't mean a place to rage against each other...just a place to talk and question and be a bit honest.
I know that this has been discussed before, but I'm not sure if Chris would like to have a lounge like this. I'm also not sure if this kind of a place would work, but why not give it a try? If it doesn't work out then it will be deleted.
It would be open only to FG members. It might give the mods a break as members will not be reporting each other for bad behavior.

One of the problems about a members lounge is that while it does protect us from casual guests' viewings, it does not protect us from those of us who belong to several forums and report backwards and forwards, often apparently not charitably. And isn't it this group who are doing most of the damage???? Just guessing there. I have no 'inside' info, and don't want any. Everything up front.
Cross forum stalking should be discouraged.
Different forums have different flavours. It's of course every member's business how many they have time to belong to, but when in Rome...... I don't like hearing that stuff I've said in here is being discussed in another forum, snarkily or not. Things were said in jest, I can see that. Putting a smiley laughing face next to a remark which is not really a joke in itself but a dig doesn't make it a joke. It appears to me that this has been blown out of all proportion. Whilst some are keen to bandy the words 'A few' around, they are giving others who do not know the truth behind the matter, the Impression that there Is some clique some-where badmouthing others on other forums. Frankly, the one's who want to give this Impression are mischief making.
It Is not nice to be written about on other forums as I found out when I went to the EA forum everyone was raving about one day to check it out and found a member here was bad mouthing me on there. I also found out he was sending messages about me to a member that he knew I was not the best of pals with to stir things further. However, that was months ago and life goes on.
I just find It Ironic that a member here talks of forum addicts when she herself Is on another forum and tried to join yet another recently.
The Impression here has been given that 'A few' are frantically sending messages about other members here. This may have happened but I can honestly say that no member here has said anything bad about another member in a message to me and I have no reason to bad mouth in return.
There is another forum that has some members that were banned from here and occassionally Forum garden gets a mention there. Spot seems to be teased some-what occassionally on that forum as most members there are long standing FG members and have clashed with him at some point. This does not mean to say that we all have absolutely nothing better to do that discuss FG members on another forum. I go there because I like the people and there are some members from here posting on there also.
I have said on that forum concerning the mods here that some get up my nose and some do a great job. That, for the record is all I have ever said and It is no more than I have posted here when we have also had threads about the FG mods.
It seemed that after I joined the other forum, some FG members joined after me and this was seen as some sort of Clique which was absolute nonsense and In the Imigination of some. It seems to me that God Forbid, any member of FG wishing to explore other forums and talk to new people, gets accussed of going there to simply bad mouth members here. Slight Paranoia on the part of a few I feel. However, the Impression has been given on this thread that on another forum, nothing goes on except bad mouthing FG members and that Is complete rubbish. As for the pm's that some speak of... As I said, No-one here has bad mouthed anyone to me. If this situation was truely as bad as some wish to stir up, then there would certainly not be as many of us all on facebook together where we are all good friends. Actually, I was delighted to recognise you in 24. My ties there go back a long way, but I'm almost never there, and then only normally post in the Aussie Forum. It was a New Year goodwill visit. Actually, I was delighted to recognise you in 24. My ties there go back a long way, but I'm almost never there, and then only normally post in the Aussie Forum. It was a New Year goodwill visit. Congrats on having your own Forum. I'm aware you don't like me. I don't have a problem with that, but I am immune to emotional blackmail. We all of us, as you note, have our own difficulties. And I think I did say it would be good if we tried to make each other's lives easier, not harder. I meant that for myself too and included myself among flawed humanity. If that's smug, I'll wear it.

The time you are refering to, In my humble opinion, the poster didn't care less weather It was seen or not. There Is a world of difference between having a joke and what you are refering to and most of us know where to draw the line.
