How Often Do You Search?

Post by Lon »

I search info several times every day, usually using Google Search. Things will come up during the day that peaks my interest and off I go to search the subject on Google. Medical, financial, history, geography, etc. , what a wealth of information is available to us.

Do you use a search tool often and which one do you like best?

Do you have any favorite thing you like to search for?

I google all day long at home and work for information on all kinds of things some are work related errors that I need a solution to, and some are just because. :D

Constantly. Always checking out definitions and historical information. It's invaluable for research to help me with my essays and for general knowledge about periods of time, although a lot of that research has to be done through recommended sites by the uni. Google is often a first point of reference just to get started, as is wikipedia, although I'd be shot if I used wiki as a reference point :wah:

All of the time I'm sitting at the PC and anything that gets my interest.

Google in the first instance.

sometime it may seem pointless but I do anyway, because I'm like that you see :D

If I posted all of my Googles here the members would be bewildered and bored in equal measure.

I doubt whether I've used a search engine for the last couple of years. Altavista was useful perhaps ten years ago, it might still exist. I'm not sure what benefit people get from looking things up instead of just remembering.

Are you serious Spot? I would have thought that you of all people would be a regular searcher. That shows how little I know. Unfortunately for me, I just don't know enough about many things and find I have to research them.
