This really saddens me to read this. Have you no compassion in your heart for this child. Better yet, do you even have any emotions that are not hateful ones?

We'll be flooded with stories like that and it's already started. Scammers will be using them to generate money that will never reach the Haitians. If you can't go down there to help and feel you must donate, be very careful who you donate to. NEVER use your credit card to donate.

Yeah, I have emotions. I hated what happened in NO after Katrina. I hate all catastrophe's. Sitting around thinking about them and sobbing your heart out all day isn't going to do you or them any good.

I have no strength left nor money to give. Don't think I don't pray for people in a bind. Yeah, I know. Some of you fine, upstanding people don't believe in God or prayer either. Well, prayer is all I got lots of.

I knew you'd come through eventually, Hoppy. Sorry you're not feeling well and are experiencing hard times.

One other thing you have is your experience and wisdom to share if you just would.

Keep praying!

Well said Gill. I have made a donation through my bank. Funny that... the BNP are having a fund raising for them :thinking:

I think In times like this, my thoughts are with the children. It's all very well to critise another countries handling of their finances but we have to get past that and think about the victems. They are no different to any National disaster. I was pleased to hear again that Gordon Brown was one of the first to pledge the millions for aid. :)
