30 multiplied by 1/2 is 15?

It's just how division and multiplication work, the question's like a double negative giving a positive.

Listen......I am mathematically dyslexic, that still makes no sense.

I have 30 items, if I divide it, I get a percentage of 30.

1/2 means a half of a whole, if I divide 30 by a half (Like an orange) I get half an orange,or 50% of an orange or 15 items, being 50% of 30 items.

(My brain is hurting now)

I am trying honestly.......or should that be, I am honestly very trying ?
