We in FG are really good at giving away our cudos and flowers, but why not post here something you are real proud of about ....YOU! YOURSELF! ie ACC's volunteering. Something small, something big, anything that makes you say to yoruself Gee I am proud of me and I wanna share that.

Welp.............just little stuff.......
I get up with my husband in the early morning even when I don't have to go to work. I fix him some coffee and send him off with a kiss. :yh_love :yh_coffee
When I receive a gift or card in the mail, I always send a thank-you note.:-6
I try to get along with my in-laws and my co-workers.
Maybe, Santa will come to my house this Christmas.

Along that is exactly what I am looking for. Yay for you those are lovely. And too many times we just don't get to share that those make us feel good. I say what the heck Brag away.
Myself I am down to 1 volunteer project but it is more a friendship now, I support (not financially) a refugee family from Afghanastan. I visit them every Tuesday eve, they make me dinner (oooo here I feel so spoiled) and I help them with english homework, or their reading, or questions on money, culture, some days we just sit and talk for a bit. It started as 2 hours per visit and now we get it up to as many as 4 hours per visit. They have come a long way. Young couple with a 3yr old son, and a new 6mo baby boy. I love them dearly.

Not so great, just a good deed!
Last Monday, I was riding on the Highway, and saw a Minivan broken down on the shoulder, with a flat tire. Standing outside were a Woman & her two Kids, standing behind the side guard rail. So I pulled over in front of her van & asked if she needed any help. I could see that she was scared. To my surprise she said yes, her car had a flat tire, & she did'nt know how to put on the spare tire. I was suprised, because in todays times, everyone has a cell phone to call for help, and I was thinking she did that. Everyone but her for some reason, as she did not have a cell phone. So she did in deed need my help & asked if I would be so kind as to help her. I said of course I'd help her. All this time cars are zooming by us both. No others pulled over, & or no State Trooper passed by us at that time.
Well I put the spare tire on her van, she & her kids (about 6 & 9) thanked me, & went on their merry way. (It took all of about 10 min) It made me feel good that I was able to help that nice woman & her kids get back on their journey.

I did a magnificent Bungy Jump on my 60th birthday. Head first, off a bridge, 187 ft., into a river up to my waist. It was a pretty good swan dive and the adrenaline rush lasted a month. I pull out the video every once in a while and find it hard to believe that I was crazy enough to do that.
