Ok, I would like to take this time to tell EVERY person that clicks on to FG, STOP

DOING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-writting a check at the counter(20 minutes later you still havent signed the damn thing, because your getting all chatty with people around you)

Why?-Why, why, why!!!!!!!

-When you leave home yes, I do beleive that you have a recollection of the $ in your wallet/purse/bra, anyway, WHY do you wait until you are picking up your purchase to write the blasted thing????????

-I look, yep only one patient, bam!!!!

-They whip out the checkbook and yes they are 100 years old, and can not see, and can not hear and now 30 minutes later I have 20 people at the counter.

Would you like me to finish that for you ? No, No problem at all, you have a nice day to. Bye now.

-I understand we all get old, but it's not just elderly its EVERYONE !!!!

would you like it if the bank teller waited until you came into the bank to even get money for her drawer and count it all down and sign on to her computer for the day?

GOT MY POINT PEOPLE.

WHEW, I feel soooooooooooooo much better, thanks you guys.

-Jasmund

I'll just goe finish my melt down in the corner now.

How about this huh? Huh? How about driving down the freeway and the sign says “right lane closed ahead”. You and 99 out of 100 cars merge to the left as soon as you can. Then there's this guy who thinks his time is more valuable than everybody else’s so he waits until he gets all the way to the barricaded closing the right lane to merge left. He wants in, in front of all of the people who were considerate enough merge left when they should have.

“OOPS, sorry buddy, I didn’t see you. I guess you’ll have to wait and see if the guy behind me will let you in.”

-When you pack for a trip and everything comes out of your suitcase smelling like toothpaste.

-People who swerve from lane to lane without using turn signals

-This is especially rampant in my part of Ohio, even in the workplace: people who have been to school but still don't understand the apostrophe rules. I'm not talking about an accidental typo here or there. I had a boss whose memos were absolutely unbelievable. (ex: Tell this customer that they're phone's are here and its gonna be Friday before they can pick them up.) EVERY TIME. *shudder*

Most annoying pet peeve I have are middle lane drivers on the motorway. You know the ones that always go as slow as possible, but refuse to move over to the slower lane as that lane is just for 'losers.' :-5

Even if we were only going 1/2 a mile he'd burst all the way into the passing lane and drive there at whatever speed he wanted because he didn't want to be like an "old man" and drive in the right lane. Then he'd cut six people off with no indicator just to exit again. Arrrggghhh!

Yes, I HATE when people will drive their whole trip in the passing lane. Unless you're going to be doing 90 the whole way, and I sincerely hope you do not drive like that, you're going to be in the way.

Aggh your right that's soo annoying. As is when you only have two lanes and you get a slow lorry or truck trying to overtake a lorry at a similar speed. I mean duhhhh, what's the point, all your doing is holding up all the cars behind that actually want to drive faaster than 40mph. Or another one are people who have 'posh and flash' cars that feel the need to overtake everyone going under 100 mph, because their car is meant for speed and in their eyes slow cars shouldn't be on the roads. I mean how annoying is that!! :-5

I was driving through Idaho where the speed limit is 75. Traffic slowed way down. There was a corvette club driving in the fast lane at about 65 MPH. I waited until I could get in front of them and made the whole line of them slow down to 40 then drove off. I hope they got the message. I can't say I feel real good about doing that but at the same time in made me feel better.

How about the ones that get real close or right along side then match your speed? I've had them stick with me through speed variations of 15MPH. What happens to their minds?

How about when you're in the fast lane all alone with your cruise set on legal. You approach two trucks going in the same direction but slower in the slow lane. The truck driver in the second truck waits until you are just about to pass, then pulls into your lane to pass the truck in front of him? It has happened to me too many times to be by chance.

1. As some one else said at the start of the thread. The fool who waits till the very last second before they join the motorway, etc. Its ridiculous especially in a traffic jam, they aint gonna get anywhere. Whats even worse is when a police officer does it.

2. Police Officers who drive over the speed limit without their lights or siren on.

3. Tailgaters.

4. Boy racers. The sound their "car" makes. OMFG. a blocked toilet sounds better.

And how they think they are superior to other road users. GO BACK AND PLAY WITH YOUR MATCHBOX CARS!!.

5. People who drive in the fast lane of a Duel-Carrigeway next to a car at exaclty the same speed, which is normally about 10-20MPH under the limit. And then complain wehn u get behind them, their the ones doin the wrong.

6. People who indicate to go left, then go right, etc.

7. People who drive under the speed limit in general. But you have to excuse some people, for example disabled drivers.

8. Im not an agist, but elderly drivers, i mean those in their late 70s-80s. They shouldnt be on the road. They have the reaction time of a.......cant think of a comparison.

9. People who drive under the speed limit, then when you go to overtake them they speed up and pull into the centre of the road :-5.

I cant be bothered to do anymore :P

Cheers.

Michael

Wow and I thought I was the only with all these car pet peeves. Have to agree on virtually all of them, particulary no 4. Agh those darn boy racers. We have 1 down the road from us and he spends all night revving his car and modifying it. I mean god, someone shut him up and let us get some sleep!! :-5

Or when someone gets 12 inches off your back bumper and you move to the right lane to let them pass and they stay at the same speed and never pass you.

People who don't get over when someone is merging. Or people in the far lane who won't LET the right lane get over when someone is merging.

People who STOP on the ramp before slooowy easing onto the highway. That's so dangerous!!!

The light turns red, you stop and don't run the light, and the driver behind you has to slam on theirn brakes to not hit you. Obviously planning to run the red.

When you're going to make a left turn, and you do it correctly not taking too long or anything, and the driver behind you swerves around you on the right. On a one way road.

People who have to stop completely even if there's no traffic just to make a left/right turn.

When you're stopped at an intersection right where you're supposed to be, and the person at the crossroad makes a left turn, doesn't pull through the intersection enough so that they go over the lane divider, almost hit your car, and then they look at YOU like you're pulled too far ahead, even though it's them who never learned how to turn left correctly. Pull throooouuugh the intersection people. It's not hard.

Not that I am bitter :wah:

Yep agree with all of them, here's another.

Cars that decide to block the road for other turning cars, simply because they can't be bothered to wait 30 seconds for the traffic in front to move, so they happily stick there car right in the middle of the road and cause chaos!! :-5

hate tailgaters. Had a big rig right on my azz once in college. stayed right on my thru 4 towns and like Clint 15mph differences, almost 55 miles.

I finally got fed up, opened the sunroof and threw all the loose change i could find.

Thanks. I have to admit I've played the "dumb game". I thought it was a good way to let the driver behind you know they were getting too close for comfort. A lot of times they won't pass. What do you suggest then?

You can't mean me:o. It's been so long ago that I did that, that I don't think you can still give me a ticket. :D

Seriously, I wonder if it isn't just as dangerous to slow down too far in busy traffic when the driver behind is on their phone, just matching your speed.

Ooo...road rage. I have never EVER played this game. I despise the attitudes of superiority that I equate with people playing god on the roads.

You want to get past me? Go right ahead, I'm never in that much of a hurry, even when I'm in a hurry. It's stupid, dangerous, and I want no part of it. The possibility of an accident is far too great. Not to mention, you never know who's packing.

This is a huge ongoing argument between my sister and I. She is a HORRIBLE driver, and always concerned with making sure everyone around her is obeying the law. She'll do 65 in the fast lane, preventing people from going around her and speeding, things like that. I'd like to kick her ass for it. I keep telling her, if you get shot at because you're acting like an @sshole, don't come crying to me.

Another stupid thing? People who drive with their left foot touching the brake pedal so their brake lights are always on. I've heard people say, "Well, it's a good idea, it always looks like I'm slowing down". Yeah, ok....um...hello? Dimbulb? So when you actually DO have to slow down, I'm not going to know it!!! Morons.

One that really irks me is a driver will pull right in front of me from a side road, go about a block and turn off. Also riding with my daughter-in-law who is driving like an idiot and calling everyone else an idiot. I start to think I am the idiot because I got in the car with her. :driving:
