Hi Red,

I finally gave up on trying to hook up to skype or msn. I downloaded skype and it seemed to download ok but couldn't connect to my computer. When I couldn't hook up to it I deleted it. Well, I then lost my internet service for 2 days. I must have spent 5 hours with optomine on line (my server) and microsoft and none of them could figure out what happened. Also, I couldn't understand the people I was speaking to on microsoft nor could I hear them. So, I gave it one last shot and had Norton do a live update and it was fixed. I have a sneaky feeling that Norton had something to do with this.

But, it is great to hear all of your lovely voices:-4

Hi Kathy. I have been really really busy these days. I had to help my grandson move and we still are getting him set up. I have to go get him a fridge tomorrow or soon. It was sad when I told his son to be sure and leave cookies and milk for Santa and he told me "well, really we dont have milk account we dont have a fridge. The apartment they were in had a fridge already there but they could not take it with.

I better check the Pick three numbers. I might have won. Heeeee.

Yeh right !!! Ere BW, you must have heard me on this thread - not a Nottingham phrase included :p I reckon you're just nesh..................what did they used to sing at school?........... cowardy, cowardy custard ....... then something else and finished with 'mustard' :wah:

Any way, that is what is so attractive, all the different accents. I can't remember how we did it back then, but maybe Spot or somebody can remember and put the instructions up on this thread.

Nah, Pam, it's not sad really. It's good memories of fun times! We need to rekindle the magic moments. All we need is for somebody to refresh our memories concerning how we go about making a recording of our voices. Obviously a microphone is an essential requirement ! ;) It would be great if lots more members contributed this time around, wouldn't it? It would be nice, though, if we were allowed 15 seconds instead of a miserly 5 ! :-5

Nesh - My Dad used to call me a nesh wimp when I was a kid and I wanted him to take me places in his car because it was too cold to go on my bike. He meant I was being pathetic or a bit of a nancy boy. He might have had a point!
