We're still not finished planting. :wah: I have like another 60 some rose of sharons, in all colors, to find a home for in our yard. We did get the 24 burning bushes transplanted.
I grow all my own bushes from the seeds or pods that fall onto the ground below the mother bushes. When they get so high, I dig them up, re-pot them and place them aside until they are tall enough to transplant somewhere in our yard. And I do give lots away.

I like to get all the transplanting done in the Spring so the roots get established before the summer heat comes on.
Do you vegetable garden Odie? We won't be putting ours in until the end of May, when it should be safe from the last frost.
See, the bubble game drives me bonkers!:yh_rotfl
I had no idea you grew them all from seeds or pods, excellent ideas you have.
I love Rose of Sharon, your entire place is going to look awesome!:guitarist
There's just myself and I just do hot house tomatoes as I love toasted tomato sandwiches!
The backyard is not full sun so nothing would grow there, the tomato plants I place out front in containers.
I love gardening and have various beds, one for tulips, when they die down I plant wildflower seeds, another one is a hosta bed under a tree out front, with jack in the pulpits and white trillium's which are Ontario's flower.
Right across the front of the house are many different perennials blooming from spring to fall with hybrid tea roses, white lilac bush & a red-leafed bush.
I also have a variegated p u s s y willow tree out front & a forsythia bush.
I have to have my birds around, so I have 3 different feeders out front as well, suet, finch and sunflower, with a birdbath for when they get hot.
My two red cardinals are cute as the male always comes first to make sure the coast if clear, then he sings for the female to come and eat.
I adore watching the wrens feed their babies, I put out bird seed on my garden path stones for them to feed.
do you enjoy gardening and birds?
Life is just to short for drama.
