Hi each ! Hope everybody is feeling better than when they weren't feeling so good! :wah: Been cloudy and a little cool here all day, but we have a nice covering of ash up in the sky to keep us warm grrrrrrrrrrrr :rolleyes:

Mornin' each ! Weather here is a bit of a mix - sunshine and clouds, oh and of course the ever present ash cloud proceeding south across the UK. Planes are still grounded, people still stranded, the airports are like giant parking lots at the moment - just a bit weird ! I wonder how many airplane companies will put up their fares to try to offset this forced grounding. Hey Jazzy, you could be doing well with your vending machines at the moment. I hope you keep them topped up regularly!

I knew that ash would be around for quite some time, as I said in your thread last night 24 flights were canceled to and from there in Toronto and it will build up even more over the days.

One really nice English woman had to get back home to work and her family, she is upset and needs to get back as I imagine everyone is, but there is nothing that can be done about it.

how are your husbands allergies?

Jazzy's vending machines would be empty now.:yh_rotfl

we had lots of sun, now its gonna cool down again.

been watering the grass and plants with the sprinkler as its been dry here.

Ere Mrs, you know I have a weakness for brownies grrrrrrrrrrrrr, I don't want to put weight on ! But thank you any way. I'll have a couple now (one is never enough :wah:) and save the rest till tomorrow and the next day!

It's sunny this morning but we are under a Winter storm warning until Wednesday :-5 They are saying anywhere from 6 to 12inches of heavy snow. If that happens, there goes the electric again :-1

We've been having two days of steady rain and T-storms. The ground is just saturated. Good for the trees though and I can see the grass growing right in front of my eyes.

Hello Mustang, Odie and Gill! It's snowing so hard right now that I can't even see my grass any more. Weird because just yesterday I had my landscape crew come out and do a spring cleanup and first grass cutting. :wah: They say this storm will go into tomorrow night and are predicting 8 to 14 inches now :-5 The only savings right now is that the ground is wet so it's sticking on the grass but not on the roads right now.

Have my generator all set and have brought in plenty of wood for the woodstoves in case the power goes out. The grocery store was packed this morning with people getting supplies. I only went to get some milk and was stuck in line for over 20 minutes :-5

Thank you very much Gill. I don't have to drive until I need to report for duty tonight at the hospital. I hope by then this has calmed down or stopped completely. If it doesn't there will no doubt be several accidents since people are dumb and just don't respect the road conditions :-5

The snow is slowing down now. I don't have anything planted as I can't do that until mid-May. The lilac bushes are trying to bloom but that's really all of the flowering bushes I have here.
