Embarrassing, isn't it! You know what they say about the masses, right? I think its even addressed in the Christian Bible!

Lots of fodder for others.

Most viewers doesn't mean that they all agree with Fox. I've seen it a few times but more out of entertainment about how stupid or unbelievable they can be. It just shows how many--not how many think it's good reporting.........those figures would probably be a bit different..:yh_rotfl

Looking at those numbers, which account for 4.6 million of the 115 million households in the country,

I can't help but wonder where the other 110 million households get their news.

Way too many people I talk to seem to be "news challenged". They can tell you all about sports though.:(

I get my news the old-fashioned way.

I read the paper.

When I wanna get modern, I read the Paper's website.

TV news is crap.

Can't stand them fools yapping at me. They never get the story straight, and and they gotta keep telling you how they are keeping up. Or they will stand there in front of the camera and tell you that there is nothing to report, but as soon as there is, they'll be the first to know, so stay tuned.

Pfft!

I grew up with Edward R. And Howard K, Walter, and Chet and Dave.

These boobs on Fox and CNN and all wouldn't amount to a pimple on Charles Kuralt's backside.

When I bring up a current news even these days, so many people seem to know little or nothing about it. I find this strange in these times with so much going on.

When I was growing up there was always at least one daily newspaper on the table, more often two. Everyone in my family was curious about what was going on. I grew up listening to the evening news on the radio. Anyone remember who Gabriel Heatter, Walter Winchell and Edward R. Murrow were? And the noon news was always on while we ate dinner. (In the midwest farm country, dinner was at noon, supper was early evening).

I just happen to like FOX but it's not the only place I get news. I read online newspapers and watch other news shows and docu's. I avoid news magazines. Can't read as much as I once did anyway.

When I was a kid, probably 10 or 12, I had an old radio, the kind with a big wooden case and lots of knobs and a lighted dial. It had a short wave band. I thought I was the luckiest kid in the world. I still think I was far better off than todays snots, walking around in a daze "texting" stupid things to their friends.

Im a news junkie. Not to imply Fox could be considered news but I switch between CNN, MSNBC & Fox. As to what my political views are nothing is to be revealed by what station is on at any given moment.

Fox is the only major U.S. news program that is constantly on New Zealand Sky TV.

There is CNN International, BBC and Sky for Aussie News and some U.S. ABC, NBC segments. New Zealanders for the most part do not think much of Fox---it seems to be watched and enjoyed by SOME expats (not this one). I watch Fox because I miss the Yankee accent, but Hannity and O'Reily let their Irish Catholic heritage sway their reporting.

We get Fox broadcast on Sky TV. Its good to watch when there isnt any other comedy on the box. I mean does ANY body take O'reilly seriously ?

I'm a big fan of Sunday Morning which was Charles Kuralt's weekly show and I have been since it began in 1979. I rarely miss a program. Now it's hosted by Charles Osgood. It covers current news, art, music, movies, topics of interest to me and humor. I'm watching it at this very moment. :-6

We always enjoyed Kuralt's work. Started watching Sunday Morning when it started. Have been too busy of late to keep with it, but Always enjoyed, Mr. Osgood, as well.

Not many of the "old-school" TV journalists left, and I am not sure I care for the "New School"

In fact, I get less patient with TV, on the whole, every day.
