My problem Gill is that there are others on e bay that i'm torn between so perhaps you can help me out? There is a set of three pictures of Kauto Star, Denman and Neptune Colognes which she has watched all run at Cheltenham or there is a picture of Kauto Star and Denman. I know she'll be thrilled with any of them but which one? She was recently talking of going to an auction in Swindon that specialises in sport art for something of Denman or Desert Orchid so i'm stuck.

Well I think you have answered your own question - knowing her regard for both Kauto and Denman, sort of 'killing two birds with one stone' ? Both horses on the one picture (a sort of BOGOF :wah:), and I believe they are both from the same stable ? But, at the end of the day, the decision must be yours! :sneaky:

Peter, maybe a large picture of the CHELSEA team holding up the 2010 Premiership Trophy might be an alternative :D

I just love the set of three as they could be grouped together on a wall:

mounted 7x5 art prints denman & kauto star set of 3 on eBay (end time 15-May-10 21:04:33 BST)

I missed these on e bay and i thank you as i think this may be the set she'll love most. These are also rather inexpensive so i could get the larger picture of Kauto Star also and save it for christmas. :-6

PM from your wife Peter Lake.

[Oscar]

Nomad,

My Peter Lake wants to buy me a picture of a horse but what I really long for is a Bentley. Any suggestions on how to steer him in the right direction?

Thanks Nomad. You are the best person ever in the whole world.

Oscar

Whilst i regually bow to your superior knowledge and power in this world i'm afraid on this occasion the pm must have been from an imposter. When once asked what kind of car she had, Oscar told him it was a white one. There lies the total interest she has in cars or anything of a similar nature. Yet, she will be be able to tell you this horses exact weight on a daily basis, where he is stabled, what he eats, how often he breaks wind and his entire racing history along with the alignment of the planets at the time of his birth.

I can appreciate that. I have a brother who raises racehorses in Lexington, KY. He's a walking encyclopedia on all things pertaining to racehorses, astoundingly so!
