It is rather a good idea and what a shame they could not connect the largest landfill site in the Pacific with the spill as it would kill two birds with one stone.

I think we should have septic tanks hooked up to every oil reserve and when anything goes wrong we can just rip all of it loose and call it "U.S. Economy Oil"

OK BP is down for the count. Why don't they just make a GIANT CORK and PLUG up it. Everything they have tried so far has worked about that well:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:-5:-5. you know, if i was them . i would just start handing out LARGE BANK rolls. Today BP gave fishermen $5000 each. one man committed that this will not hold them over. when this time of year they make enough money to carry them through the winter. This is going to be a disaster for the Gulf coast. For years to come. I live right here, it will be a very long time. Before i eat any seafood from the gulf.

I wonder if they could insert explosive charges into the sea bed and detonate it. If deep enough, and hot enough, the rock could seal itself off.

The trouble is, it's about 1,500m down - nearly a mile, vertically. I suspect that they won't have much luck, and that relief drilling will be the only answer. If the BOP stack is damaged, the situation may worsen. It's possibly best to just leave it alone.

I wonder what the buzz would be if this was an American owned petroleum company that did this and flooded oil onto British soil screwing up their wildlife and fishing for the oil spilled area. I have a feeling their would be much more disdain and hatred for the American company.

It doesnt seem like a sound idea on the surface because flesh detiorates rapidly in water. It peels off and floats away in the current. After a short time chunks of oily "crat meat would begin popping out of the cylinder and the oil would start gushing again. If Im not mistaken Lesbians have a tougher skin because of all the abuse they take and they may deteriorate less rapidly but probably not much.

Now if you combined Mexicans, Muslims, Negroes, draft dodgers, pansies, non members of the NRA, liberals, punk rockers and everyone North of the Mason Dixon line we might be on to something. Hell all that nappy hair should be enough to clog a volcanoe up.

No doubt BP has thought of this but the logistics of such an overwhelming endeavor has got to be impractical.

Still you have to admit, the idea has some merit.

I think it's a horrible idea if you want to know the truth. Have you ever tried to stuff a dead body down a body of water? It's horribly tedious. The body tries to float to the surface every chance it gets! It's why people have taken to the idea to chain rocks and bricks to their feet

The idea would best be suited to kill everyone and then wait until their flesh has decomposed to the point we could then start filling woodchippers with their bones to then add some type of suspension to the resultant powder that hardens over time.

Just use their heads. Pound them into the pipe good and tight. It would probably be the only time a liberal's head was ever used.:yh_rotfl
