Sheesh!! So how come, some days we get absolutely unanswerable questions? I took one of the quizzes one day. It said to not worry about your score, there were some questions so obscure that hardly anyone got them right but you might learn some useless information in the process.

Thanks for the statistics.

hmmmmm....10/10 but please tell me how these questions qualify as 'history'?

If someone opposes someone or goes against a stated cause, this person would be considered an antagonist or antagonistic. What prefix indicates against?

What is clever humour called?

Which of the following words could mean a reasonably accurate but not precisely certain calculation about something?

Once in a blue ________?

You're out of ozokerite. What do you need to buy?

You just broke your grommet. What do you need to replace?

A lot of people would argue that any kind of government is a kakistocracy. What does kakistrocracy mean?

Which is the correct spelling?..........Your Answer: Mortgage

stories of Gwrach y Rhibyn and the Ellyllon are from what part of the British Isles?

Francesco Cavalli named an opera after a mythical Queen of Carthage. Who was this queen, whose tragic fate is related in Virgil’s “Aeneid?

i think the last two are the only ones vaguely 'history':confused:
