Pheeweee!
I bought a jar of 'Lazy Garlic' for cooking, it's so much easier than locating the garlic press and then cleaning it out after, fiddly things!
But, the smell! It's stinking my fridge out, everything smells of garlic. I can even tell when the children have been in the fridge from upstairs :wah:
I think it's going to have to go...

I have only ever seen the flakes.

I think it's going to have to go... Betty there Is a way around this. If you can get some charcoal dog biscuits and leave a few in your fridge they will absorb all the smell of the garlic and any other strong smelling food you have in there. It will also do the trick on smelly trainers if left inside overnight, absorb tobacco smells from your car and a host of other nasty pongs. Refresh the biscuits every few days and you will have a garlic free fridge.
Fresh parsley also does the trick but not so easy to get every few days.

You feed your dog charcoal? I may be wrong Peter but I dont think dogs should eat charcoal nor drain cleaner, floor wax or any other such thing.

Charcoal is good for digestion and other things. At one time you could buy charcoal tablets or pills for that purpose. Some were in a sugar shell, like M&M's.

Right wing conservative Bush-isms propagated by Cheney and Haliburton meant to keep minorities and the working class under their thumbs.

I keep pre minced garlic in a jar in my fridge all the time, never noticed any odor from it.

Oh er that'll keep the evil away hey! It occurred to me earlier that I can't smell it so much now.
Then I realised that I have a cold
I'm off to eat the jar because that article said
Viruses are cruising around the blood stream and suddenly they come across a little bit of garlic. What does the virus do? It leaves! Science has proven that viruses are repelled by the smell of the garlic.

Try wiping the jar off after using it and putting the lid on tight.
I've used that sort of product for years and never had a problem.

I've used that sort of product for years and never had a problem. The part of garlic that makes breath and fingers smell is the green shoot in the middle. When preparing, if you flick this core out with a knife, you should have no smell but also, chewing a cardamom pod right after a meal will leave no hint of the garlic meal. Parsley works also just as well.
