Do You Have Too Much Stuff?

Post by Lon »

Do you have piles of stuff that you will never ever use but have convinced yourself that some day you will need it? Get rid of it----give it away!

This is a hilarious piece about stuff from my favorite comedian (deceased) George Carlin.

I'm a minimalist. Less is more. Plus that coincides with my obsessive compulsive disorder to clean.

I've watched this show, these people really have serious issues...OCD for one.

I weeded out all my junk last year, I no longer keep what I don't or will ever use.
Life is just to short for drama.

I do that too! I'll probably be kicking myself soon, have cleared out three rooms today. I seem to hoard for a while then have big clear outs when there's too much clutter to cope with.

Funny how everyone only seems to notice they "have way to much crap!" when they move.

Then when they get moved the house is "empty!"! :yh_rotfl

I've been accused of hoarding but i like to think i'm shrewd when keeping stuff. My point was proven very recently when after hanging on to the pram we had for little one's visits, my wife stripped it for new waterproof dog bedding.

Too much stuff? God, no - however, I have too little accommodation for what I've got.

Well instead of taking "trash" out of her room might I suggest you place "valuables" in her room and thus she will begin to throw things away? Sounds reasonable in my mind.

Nice clip of Carlin RIP logical humor is my favorite, but I think his best was of the reduction of the 10 commandments which reduces clutter I believe he would say is an area that has way to much religion
