I Want It Now

Post by Lon »

Have you ever bought something and had to wait eight or 10 weeks for it? I want, no I need, a comfortable chair. There is not one chair in our household that is comfortable for either my wife or myself. Our bones are aging and deserve some comfort. The present furniture though attractive is better designed for younger bodies, which we had 22 years ago when it was purchased. New furniture was purchased the end of April and will not arrive for two more weeks. I can't wait. I am thinking about it daily as I suffer in this present torture device. I will have a big leather recliner that will accommodate my 6' 4" frame and I just may decide to sleep in it instead of a bed.

Hey, I got a bed but sleep in a recliner. I started sleeping in a recliner when I had to get up to pee about every hour. I now make it through most of the night but got used to sleeping in a recliner and saw no reason to change. Reminds me of Jean Reno in the movie "The professional". He slept sitting up in a chair.

I had to sleep in a recliner for 9 months following 3 shoulder surgeries which I had due to a car wreck. I couldn't lie flat in a bed, though I wanted to. I was so happy when I could finally go back to my bed. :)

I've bought recliners at Sam's Club that were good chairs and pretty inexpensive. My daughter bought one at K-Mart that looks and feels like one I bought at a more expensive store.

I bought a Lazy Boy recliner and have tried it out as well as a number of others. The rest of the furniture is Lazy Boy as well.

Yes, go look for a recliner now. Doesn't hurt to have a spare one around.
