What made you smile today??

Post by Oscar Namechange »

We have a thread on 'What pissed you off today' so i thought i'd start one for what made you smile today.

Even when we have the biggest of problems to over-come, there is always a little something to make us smile if we look hard enough.

Today, it's another sunny day and children are playing in the lane. Hearing them laugh makes me smile :-6:-6:-6

The other day I had to call a guy who had left a message. So, I get the number and give him a ring....ask for Joe, etc. and begin chatting about Quin being on his baseball team. We are talking for about 5 min and I ask if he's related to somebody with the same last name and yes, he is. He's the son of the other guy I know.:) Then he says he works for the highway dept. & it hits us both at the same time....we know each other:wah: He's our trash guy!:wah: Well I had to call him back last night to let him know that Quin won't be around in mid June but his phone kept dying:yh_rotfl....he's laughing/I'm laughing:yh_rotfl and told him "you are as bad as my daughter wtih not charging your phone":yh_rotfl

on chilly days I throw everyone's jackets in the dryer until they're ready to go so everyone will be warm and snugly until the car heater warms up. The kids love it, their reaction always makes me laugh. :D

yes, I'm a dork....:o

Sleeping in until 6 am.

Not having to go to work.

Sitting in a fun meeting planning the Easter church service.

Celebrating my husband's birthday tonight. Nice ice cream cake hidden in the freezer, and his favorite diinner planned to cook this afternoon. :-4

My lovely 2 year old granddaughter, playing in the sunshine in the garden, making an mess with mud and pretending to sweep up and then taking me by the hand and asking me the names of the plants. She has her own gardening set and loves to water my pot plants...it is always fun trying to stop her from watering herself too :-6

Yup, toys everywhere... cars are his favourite.... everywhere you go, cars cars cars. I found one in the fish tank the other day. The fish obviously didn't like the choice of model, as it was hiding behind the coral...

A week later i was so chuffed that i found him a real dogs bollocks plane in the shops. It was expensive but i thought he'd love it as he could take the passengers and cargo out and re-arrange them etc. When i told his dad about this plane, he said 'PLANE?????........... No............ he said 'TRAIN' .. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Any-one want to buy a plane???
