The sixth of July is Saint Sexburga's Day.
Was it Raven (who is sadly no longer apparently here) who ran an occasional series on Saints? I can't remember if this sixth century Abbess of Ely was covered. (If she was a Saint, I'm assuming she wasn't uncovered!)
I have no idea how you celebrate the Day of Saint Sexburga, but I guess we will all find a way.
Here's the reference:

Wow, that was interesting to learn about.

I thought you made the saintly saint up Pam and then I Googled her. A lot of cool, saintly people born on July 6. Merv Griffin, Ringo Starr, etc. and .. .. .moi. I think I'll be extra saintly today. I am probably St. Sexburga reincarnated.

The sixth of July is apparently also the Dalai Lama's birthday - I wonder if all his reincarnations were born on 6 July.. I mean, perhaps he could once have even been Saint Sexburga?!!

The 6th of July is also my older son's birthday. Just spoke to him on the phone. Sweet!
