I like it. It looks rugged enough to survive on our potholed streets. It has that "no nonsense" look. HELL YES.

I could imagine myself being in Idaho, Montana, one of the Dakotas, Eastern Oregon, or Eastern Washington and breaking down. No luck for me! There wouldn't be a Mercedes mechanic closer than 1000 miles. :-)

Hmmmmmm.....I could probably use one of those if I lived out your way Cars and Chris with the snowy and icy winters we've had for the last 3 years.

But, I do live at the beach and this is more my style.....We 'gulls' need the wind in our hair always:p

Here's my last 2 cars....

How did you like your Solstice? (That is a Solstice, on the right isn't it?)

Hi Chris,

Yes, it is a 2007 Pontiac Solstice. The car on the left is a 1996 Pontiac Firebird.....well, that Firebird is actually a picture from the net, but it looks exactly like my car even after 11 years. The bottom of the car rusted, and I had to give it up. The pic of the Solstice is my car. It has a black top and interior.

I love my Solstice. Even though it is only a 4 cylinder, it's pretty fast and hugs the road well. It gets about 21 miles to the gallon.....Not terrific mileage, but I only drive it locally or to NY. When I take my car to Florida, I use the auto train so it's in very good shape.

Unfortunately, Pontiac has now closed shop and so has Saturn. They make a Sky that looks like a Solstice. I've only bought Pontiac cars and now they're gone:(

Thanks. Yes, it was a shame that they killed Pontiac and kept Buick. Although, I do understand why since GM killed the Pontiac brand.

I've always loved Hummers, they're unusual styling and bruteness.
