The Wolfman

I am going to watch the "Wolfman" flick with Anthony Hopkins in a few moments.

I want to compare it with one of my old favorites from the black and white film starring "Lon Chaney".

Ive never fully comprehended the wolfman saga. Is he a good guy that sometimes goes bad? Is he maybe just misunderstood? What are his intentions, whats he want?

I dont recall, does he kill or just maim, does he eat his prey? Is anyone vulnerable or does he have a specific purpose in choosing his victims? Why is there no wolfwoman?

OK-----------I've watched 30 minutes of the "Wolfman" and turned it off. It sucks!! I just could not get into the film. The ole black and white version that I saw as a kid was better I believe or maybe it's just because I was a kid with different perspective considering my age at the time.

I do like Anthony Hopkins and that's the main reason I got the film, but, he's been in some bummers.

Maybe if he did that chianti and fava bean line it would have been better.
