Well at least u have put pics of yourself up Susie, as have others on here. That takes some confidence to let the whole world see who u are, so for that u should at least feel proud!!

I've seen virtually all the pics that have been posted on here, and no-one really has anything to worry about because u all are such beautiful people.

That's the policy to have. Always give others the chance to catch crabs.

Blast! The server refused my family picture and the picture of the cruise as being too big for this format. Anyone got any ideas?

Meanwhile, thank you for the nice compliments! Here are a couple more of her. She is a truly wonderful person, and that's why I've stayed with her for the last ten years, despite her terrible medical problems. (Of course her beauty helped a bunch!)

Mine is like that every single time. I have to resize the picture to a smaller size, I use 640x480, but I could probably go larger. Do you have a photo editing program?

I know I have one at home on my laptop, but I'm not sure here at school. I'm going to cruise around the hard drive and see what I can find. Thanks for the size recommendation.

10 years ago, I helped set up the computer system for Farmington Municipal Schools. A job that has given them no end of trouble. Ever since then, I have been known in the tech department as the worst, most troublesome hacker in the system.

Once, I even made myself administrator over the whole system! They wouldn't let me display my desktop pics on my classroom computer! Little did they know I had obtained duplicate copies of the server installation discs! I sucessfully argued that it was similar to flowers on a desk and was good for morale, so they relented after that episode, as long as I agreed never to shut them out of their own system again.:wah:

Me too! But brunette is her natural color and I've never again been able to convince her to go back to being blonde!:o

I think she looks great as both! The brown is sophisticated and sultry, and the blonde is kind of a healthy, carefree vibrant color. Both are fabulous!

it's funny...i get so dark in the sun so i went blonde in my first year in fla. but i am italian and natural brunette. i never felt 'right' blonde. 10 years i kept it up. when i finally went back to brunette i felt like myself again. my ID shows me platinum blonde.

I have one of those IDs too! People will refuse to believe it's my ID and I'm forced to whip out various cards with variations of platinum, strawberry blonde, red and brunette.

Theia, when you're in the area where you're typing your replies to threads, if you scroll down, you will see a button labeled: "Manage attachments." Click on it, and it will give you a window with several spaces like your search engine window, with the buttons "Browse" next to them. Click the "browse" button and it will allow you to search your computer for the image you want to upload. When you have it, click the "upload" button in the bottom right of the attachment window and it will attach your picture. It will ask you to wait till the image is loaded, then when it's done, you will see the file name. Close the window and type your message and hit submit.

It's a breeze once you have done it a couple times!

Thanks BR. I actually managed to follow your instructions (they must have been clear! It's not my forte!) But when I previewed the photo, it was very blurred around the edges, and in the middle. although the scan on "My pictures" seemed fine. I wonder what that's all about?
