After lengthy discussions with the other half, weighing up the pro's and con's, weighing up the outlay, I have decided to persue a dream I have had for some years.
As a back up In-case I do not become a famous Politician before I die, I have en-rolled In Photography Courses.
My Intention Is to become a Free-lance Horse -racing Photographer.
Even at my age, I really do believe we must persue our dreams or look back with 'Shoud have's'.
If you had a career change, what would you do?

I am chasing my dream....
Good for you Oscar !
I had a dream, when I was in my teens - to be in a pop/rock type band. Well I achieved that dream and I thoroughly enjoyed it !
Now I have another dream - to write a soap for TV, about mine and my hubby's life running our business on the river! But it will have to wait till I am settled after our move some time next year. I just know it would be very entertaining and with lots of drama, simply because it would be a virtual 'log' of our years on the water. It would be taken from real life, so every incident portrayed would be the real article! All the characters will be real ones (except the names will be different!). All the incidents that I will include will have actually happened. The romances, fall-outs, dishonesty, fights, police involvement, hilarious goings on. Comedy, drama. Oh I could go on LOL, it's all there ready to tell ! :wah: :-6 :yh_wink

My dream is to be independantly wealthy without having to put out any effort. Politics was the only thing I could think of to get there. I have way too many skeletons in the closet for politics so I guess I will stick to buying lottery tickets.

I am chasing my dream....
I am truly satisfied with my current career in Human Resource. I've had aspirations as a young girl to be a teacher, an actress, an artist, a wife and mother. During my lifetime so far, I have acheived all those goals in some form or another.
I don't feel like chasing anything anymore, especially any dreams. I'm just enjoying myself.........living, and learning, and loving......and sometimes, laughing.
Like laughing at folks who spill coffee on their keyboards and inadvertantly type poetry.. :wah:

Hahahahaha
Ya cheeky thing! :wah:
Twasn't my fault ya know! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it) :sneaky:
There I was just sitting there. I had the light on because it was pretty dark out, but the window was wide open because it was a pretty stuffy night and I was hoping for a cool evening breeze to waft in through the window . . .
Instead a MASSIVE black moth wafted his silent way in, fluttered around the room and then DROPPED onto my bare arm!!!
YIKES!
I didn't scream or shriek (how unbelievably brave is that?) but it DID make me jump (practically outta my skin!) and as I jumped my arm (by now without it's moth) knocked my coffee cup which was sitting just between my arm and the keyboard.
The cup didn't fall but it rocked ominously backwards and forwards on its rim, sending this mini-wave of coffee splooshing out over the rim of the cup and splattering all over the keyboard!
Funny thing was, I drained the keyboard and it's been fine for 3 days, but I guess today it started to dry out properly and all the keys started misbehaving! :-5
Good news though!
We popped up to Asda this evening and bought a brand new keyboard, actually a very nice MS one, for only a tenner! Bargain!
