Recent evidence that I'm vain

Post by koan »

There is lots of evidence out there but, most recently, I realised that I miss "Today's Posts" vs "New Posts" because my own activity doesn't show up in the list. I could explain it away as wanting to see evidence that my post was posted alright but I realize I just like to see my name on the list.

So there you have it.

As I discover more evidence I'm perfectly, shamelessly, willing to share it with you.

Drag each of these URLs to your Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar, then right-click each, click Properties and press backspace (to remove the title) and Save, then shift all three to the left hand corner next to the BBC news ticker. You might like to right-click Recent and delete it if you don't like it, and anything else there that clutters up the Bookmarks Toolbar and you never go into.

That'll give you three buttons you can press any time you like: who's online (in a rational tidy order), Subscribed Threads, and Today's Posts. It's a damn sight easier than fishing through the VB Version 4 menu at the top of the FG page.

Thanks for fixing the Today's Posts problem, spot, but I'm still vain... I'm currently working on inventing a new style of bicycle helmet that will pass laws but not give me hat head. It has now taken priority over the coffee brewer powered by the pedals... which threatened to set my seat on fire.
