I think the word 'hate' is used too much in our society.......hate is the ultimate word to describe ones dislike of something /someone. How can you hate a Pop song, a certain food, an actor, a type of car etc .....
Things I hate.......many of the actions by individuals and society that have historically and in the present, persecuted, executed, and repressed individuals, cultures, populations etc.
I have never hated any individual that I know personally despite thier actions towards me that have caused me pain. I have been disappointed, disgusted and they have lost my respect......
When people turn round in an argument - particularly a child - and says " I hate you ", it makes me cringe.
