Well l did it, l survived freshers week.:-3

I am feeling really good right now as l have offically enroled as a student at University!

It was a long time coming and took lots of bottle!

I want to thank all you FG members who wished me luck.

Congrats Venus. I'm sure now that u have gotten back into the swing of things, you will find being at uni a lot easier. Make sure to let us all know how things are getting on. I wish u the very best of luck!!

plus l get to get drunk at bothwells and still turn up at uni bright and early. plus you know the flirting is safe ( no names mentioned Far!)

I also went to college on Tuesday, just an evening class but boy was I nervous!!

Comupterised Accounting!!

The first night was a farce really!! All twenty of us sat around in Reception, waiting to be shown to our computer room, finally got shown to the room. Sat and filled in some registration forms, then it was announced they couldn't find our teacher!!

They found him ten minutes later in a another computer room within the college!! He moved to us and started handing out passwords and user names, then we turned on the computers, logged in and we couldn't find the accounting course!! The IT guys hadn't put our course on the computers!!

I was back home again within an hour and a half!! We didn't mind too much it was quite funny and not the poor teachers fault!

:wah: You know that sounds exactly like my first week at college. My IT course was so full of teachers being absent and computers not working that we ended up having a whole days worth of education reduced to an hour of sitting around.

Good luck Betty on the computer accounting, l delved into it a few years ago and decided nope not for me!

Thanks for the tip acc, will let the others know. Ive already got a regu;lar study partner. We were at college together and travel to uni together..

And yes sir cars l will party hard and work even harder. (hand on heart) I promise!
