Anyone know how to contact Nectar please?

Post by Aura »

I am seriously getting annoyed with this company. The last time I had a card I used the points to help pay for my gas bills (though EDF) but when I tried to collect the points I was told by EDF to ring Nectar, who in turn were as helpful as a chocolate fire guard, who told me to ring EDF.

This latest problem is I have a new card and I have just tried to register it on-line but no matter how many times I have put in the registration number and confirmation code, it will not except it. Can anyone tell me the proper e-mail or phone number of Nectar? When I click on e-mail us I get placed back at the registration form which is a pain in the !"£$%

Many thanks.

Our helpline team are available on 0844 811 0 811, 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm weekends and bank holidays.

There is no email address, there's only a contact form once you're logged in.

I just registered a card to check what happens and it fully activated. Did you get an email sayingDear Collector,

Thank you for setting up your online account.

No I didn't get any e-mail of the sort. Why won't it let me register?

When I went to Sainsburys the lady took the card off that was attached to the paper, and told me to use the Nectar card that I already had, do you think that could be the problem? Many thanks.

This is all I seem to get when I try to register the card. Also the page where it says get code sent to you doesn't seem to be working, as when I click submit I keep getting the hour glass. Also when I try to log on it doesn't seem to recognise my password.

Whatever it is that's broken I doubt very much that it's at the Nectar end. Perhaps your card is already registered and Nectar won't re-register it. If you get the phone desk to talk you through the registration they'll be able to find out what's stopping you and then fix the problem.

Aura;1341992 wrote: How do I link my card with Amazon? You go to the Amazon website by clicking "Go Shopping" on Nectar Points at Amazon and Amazon will then know the Nectar card to credit the points to. If you make that link one of your favourites or bookmarks then you can easily use it to get to Amazon whenever you want to go there. You need to be logged into your Nectar account when you click the Go Shopping button but you can leave yourself logged in permanently if you want, so it's no extra effort.

Just click this Nectar link, log into Nectar if it asks for a Nectar login, click the Go Shopping link to Amazon and you'll be there. Amazon doesn't give Nectar points for shopping on Amazon, Nectar gives Nectar points for shopping on Amazon.

It's called a shopping gateway.
