hello yes its me your ever faithfull grumpy here again now i,d like you to read all this story before you even comment on it.
its many stories of hope and yet downright cheek from more eu dregs that we dont want.
like Builder Ion Niculescu, 33, from Moldovan capital Chisinau, said: "I have applied for my Romanian passport and I'll use it to go to Britain to try my luck on building sites.
"You can earn ten times as much as in Moldova. I won't be allowed to work legally in the UK but their checks are so lax that I don't expect it to be a problem." .
LIKE many people from Eastern Europe, Norbert Cvijanov has long dreamed of a life in Britain.
The 34-year-old is sick of struggling on a measly salary in his native Serbia and wants to uproot wife Maja, 35, and children Lazar, four, and Marina, three, and make a break for the UK.
The agricultural sales boss ruefully told The Sun: "I could earn three times as much doing the same job in Britain."
And Norbert's family, with potentially thousands of others from countries outside the European Union, such as Serbia, could soon be welcomed here with shiny, new EU passports.

the last comment from the builder is the one that makes my blood boil.
what makes this moldovion moron think he,s just going to walk in to england and pick up a job on a building site what makes any of the others think that this is the land of milk and honey with jobs a plenty because the reality is there isnt.
we,ve not only got english people looking for work but every tom dick and abdul we,ve already aquired under this madcap lib con government and those we aready have from teflon tony blairs and golden browns open door policy which just allowed anyone in we do not need to cap numbers but instead we need a zero tolerance starting today starting now where illegal immigrants arriving in the uk do not get beyond the ports airports or the euroshuttle /eurostar terminal.
at one time the english channel is what kept our little island safe now its no more and at the mercy of the euro superstate lunatics.

And what makes you think that a builder from Moldova is a "moron" because he believes there's a chance he might make a good living in another country ?

The reason Ion Niculescu isn't allowed to work legally in the UK is that he's not a citizen of the European Union. He's a Moldovan. Moldovans aren't Romanians, they have a country all of their own called Moldavia and it, unlike Romania, isn't a member of the EU at all. Were he actually Romanian he could quite legally come to the UK and work this year as a self-employed building contractor in the UK. As a Moldovan he's not. The check which fails is actually in Romania, if they do actually issue him with an EU passport - the failure's not in the UK at all.

I've never got quite as far south as Moldova yet. I spent an informative week in Białystok once but that, though just as near the old Soviet border, is flatter. The Germans pummelled the Russian army nearby in August 1914, it's an area covered in lakes and forested bits. But yes, the Molodovan builder. Eastern Europeans tend to have interesting stories to tell and an engrained cultural background which makes them a joy to listen to.

I'm working along side a Russian, a couple of Romanians and a couple of Hungarians. The language barrier is quite funny at times and the Hungarians and Romanians get on reasonably well now, after quite a few months of communicating through gritted teeth. Thats European history for you, I guess
