I don't like the man, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.......

>>>Ramsay held at gunpoint by gangsters

Mind you, it's a wonder this hasn't happened before now by some of the people he swears at and consistantly verbally abuses.

He is lucky he is still alive in a foreign country looking for trouble, he almost got it. His voice is so annoying I can't listen to him yell at people on "Hells Kitchen".
ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

It is the first line of the article you posted.

He has had a lot of bad publicity lately, this is just an attempt to balance it all out......I think.

I like Ramsey - I like Hell's Kitchen and his other show for re-vamping restaurants.

My brother is a Chef - of course he doesn't like Ramsey & wouldn't tolerate the - Screaming.

I see the yelling etc all show..

I find this article upsetting for the illegal FIN CUTTING.. that's probably another thread...

PatsyIt's not just the screaming PW it's the swearing. What industry would allow those in charge to speak to people in that manner.

I can't say if it's all show or not, but I guarantee his attitude along with his swearing will sit nicely with the attitude of today's society, and today's society are greatly influenced by programs on tv.

Of course, I may just be an old fuddy-duddy. :yh_clown

I am sorry for anyone who has to encounter an assailant. It's understandable why Gordon was so upset about killing sharks for their fins, but, anyone in their right mind would not challenge thugs...That's why we call the police to report crimes.

I only wish Gordon Ramsey well. He appears, IMO, like a bully on his reality show!

I do not care for this man. On his programs, he is mean, nasty and vicious! I'm hoping that he is not like this in his restaurants. Wondering if he's like this only on his tv reality show!

I love to cook and do watch ALL the cooking shows, especially Food Channel. If I was an apprentice for Gordon, I'd be long gone, and I'd tell him to f off. I'd make sure I'd try to work with a master chef who was more even-keeled and have some compassion and patience for newbys.

quote: "what industry would allow those in charge to speak to people that way" ?

answer: This is TV Network allowing this conduct / language.

They allow these bizzare Reality Show's which are influencing viewers - of course. I can't stop that

Parents can screen exposer but the junk TV is every where some Half naked with the language.

Hell's Kitchen - I like the show - and still feel Ramsey's conduct is a show - you wouldn't be able keep employees in real life..

The screaming & language is also his instant "get Tough" - it's quick elimination Techniques.

Ramsey's lucky to be alive - whether it's a foreign Country or his mouth...

Now I know what you're all gunna say ......Why the petrol? Well that bit wasn't my idea.

And dammit!!! if I wanna make shark fin soup I'll bloody well do so .......and just think of all the apprentices that have gone under that man ...I know, yes!!, I know they wanted him to burn . But you know?, you can't go overboard on these matters.

How many times has that man served up shark fin soup ? He'll tell you, never , I wouldn't believe him .
