A Good Film

I saw the new film "True Grit" yesterday and thought it was exceptionally good. Good script, excellent acting and well photographed. It's been a long time since a really good western was produced. Even John Wayne as the old "Rooster Cogburn" would have approved, although this story was quite a bit different.

I am looking forward to seeing it.

I saw a piece on its production a while back.

The director says they followed the book nearly exactly, as far as dialog and speech patterns of the characters.
