The Human Centipede
The Human Centipede
Roger Ebert won't rate this film.
It's on my list of things I don't need to see. I first started this list with Texas Chainsaw Massacre - the remake. I hadn't seen the first one. I made the decision I didn't need to watch it pretty much right after they capture some people, doomed to die painfully, for the stated reason that they need to eat them to survive... despite the victims having been captured because their car ran into a cow on the road.
The Human Centipede is topping the list now.
For those that haven't heard of it, watch the trailer if you must... or just read Eberts unrated review.

When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.

The Human Centipede
It's the first time Ebert has refused to rate a film. That pretty much says it all.

I just visited IMDb to get some information on this film, as I had never heard of it. The concept apparently came from a joke.
I definately will not be viewing it.

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.
WOO HOO!!, what a ride!!!"

Tom Six is a seriously ill lump of flesh. I actually feel sorry for him, honest.
Incidentally, I couldn't bring myself to watch the trailer. :yh_sick

That's what I thought when I heard the plot. Figured it's just another pointless chainsaw massacre. I'm more disturbed about it since reading Ebert's reaction.

Me too, Diana.
It is a disturbing plot for sure. I did watch the trailer, and the thought of some disturbed person doing this freaked me out.

One of the stupidest parts is the "100% medically accurate" tag on the promo.
The only accurate part is that they die.
The only accurate part is that they die.

koan I'm struggling to delete "Eberts unrated review" with that image on his page, out of my mind. :yh_sick Grrrrrrr.
It's a pity our old brain boxes don't come with an instant delete button. So I guess it's down to mind over matter; Sigh, how very taxing.
