That's amazing artwork but no way could I play that, I'd be fighting zombies in my dreams all night.

It's not just zombies my friend. The variety of creatures and species in the game is almost uncountable. Those you can interact with and those that exist in the backround, etc.

I'm more of a 'casual game' kind of person... ever hear of Syberia? You'd probably find it a giant snooze fest, no pun on my name intended.

Can't say that I've heard of that one Snooze. But if you're into RPG's, you've got to give this one a shot. You won't regret it. Have to wait a few more days though because it doesn't get released in the U.S. until the 25th of January. That is of course if you live in the U.S., if you live in Europe there is another release in February I think for parts of that area although a previous release already exists in Germany I believe.

Well, I can tell you, a second ago I was holding the game in my hands. I have not opened it yet because I have to go over to my Wife's cousins house but I can say that the cover front and back was even better than I expected. Yes, when it comes to a game, I judge it also by the cover. And the best words I can describe the cover in is to use the word crisp. The words on the back mesh perfectly with the colors and the pictures. The front has an awesome image of this guy holding a sword and this sorcerer looking figure. I love it so far and I haven't even opened it yet!!!!

I'll keep you guys posted.

So far the movement is awesome, what I like best about them is you can actually move your character while they are being talked to instead of having to remain idol. The fact that you can run in this game kicks ass as well. You don't have to hop along to get anywhere. The lock picking system is awesome too because it forces you to have to actually work a bit to pop the lock and the way you do it makes it feel like you're really picking it instead of just watching it get picked. What I like even better is the non playable characters each have their own story and it is extremely thorough along with their dialogue. Much more so than Oblivion. You feel like you are really getting to know the Orcs that are helping you in the beginning. Like the one who works down in the furnace room making weapons and such, you can talk to that guy for literally like 20 minutes and you feel like when you're done you have learned enough about him that you actually "know him". They did a superior job on that.

Also the voices are much much better than the first one. And you don't have the annoying comments every two seconds when you swing your weapon like in the first one either (I turned the voice settings off anyways in the first one because nearly all the voices were painful to listen to).

Oh and the MUSIC!!! This game has the best battle music I have ever heard in an RPG. It flows perfectly. I just learned how to break down weapons today in order to make new ones but you have to understand the learning curve on this game is immense. There are so many things that you have to learn if you want to master the system. I'm starting with one thing at a time, but also this is the first time I have ever seen a consple RPG with this much depth in it. I mean it's truly incredible. The first one doesn't even come close to the amount of depth and things to learn.

So far I give it a 10 out of a 10. It's a blend of every great RPG game (that was non turn based) that was ever made plus it has it's own spice to it as well. I love it. But you knew I'd say that......
