A Trump Roast

Post by koan »

Just finished watching this. I haven't watched many roasts before but my introduction to Stephen Colbert was the Bush roast and and I saw the one for Shatner. Trump got off easy. They spent 85% of the time roasting the other roasters and a few final words at the end of each actually making fun of Trump.

Hmmm. Maybe there was a little fear for their future?

Trump said he was only there as it was generating huge dollars for charity.

Marlee Matlin was awesome.

The Jersey Shore greaseball (whatsisname) roasted himself more than anything. I hate watching people embarrass themselves.

Despite the lack of Trump roast, there was some good stuff.

The line of the night goes to Snoop Dogg “Donald says he wants to run for President and move on into the White House. Why not? It wouldn’t be the first time you pushed a black family out of their home.”

"Hmmm. Maybe there was a little fear for their future?"

Hence the term, "trump card". ;)
