Hmmmm bully gets what's coming to him???

This video is causing great debate in this country, what do you guys think .

The background to this........The large boy has been bullied constantly this time it's been filmed....but this time he retaliates.

Do you think it's an overboard reaction, or did the bully get what was coming to him?

Accountable thought it was the feel good video of the week.

Yeah, I liked the girl too, she faced down a pretty good sized boy.

I was that boy when I was his age. When I got tired of the crap, they knew it, too.

they interviewed the smaller lad on tv last night ......apparently he was bullied as a young child. and his mother is right that was a very hard hit tot he ground and it could of been rather fatal . But if you want to play the game then you have to put up with the consequences. The large boy will not be returning to the schoolbecause he fears more violence.

Those kids .......geesh ....the ones filming it .......I want to slap there little faces.

Reminds me of a story from work... we used to have this very small, very obnoxious and arrogant man that worked in my building, and someone had a big party at their house that he attended. Well, this little guy was getting pretty drunk and throwing glasses of ice water at people, so one of the guys picked him and tried to dunk him in the tub of water. When he fell out, he shattered his ankle. At least he had the decency to understand he had created the situation and actually apologized to everyone later.

All I see in this story is the defense that "I was bullied too. WAH!"

It sucks but kids got to learn to deal with life, and other people. The sooner they learn, the better.

There is obviously more to the story than you get in the video, but the one kid is just pushing his luck from the git-go. The big kid finally has enough and puts him down.

It should have been the end of the story.

Now the big guy will go off to another school, and get picked on again, until something snaps and he goes on a rampage, and ends up stuck away in a cage for a while.

Big kid like that is a grizzly bear waiting for the right moment to come out.

The kid should get some counseling on how to deal, and get some self respect. Learn to play football, where you can throw people around without getting in trouble for it.

Maybe wrestling.

And then again, maybe he will just turn in to one of those sociopaths that never gets anything right, joins a biker gang and makes living terrorizing the little farts like the ones that used to harass him. (that period in my life holds some interesting memories.

)

Kids got all sorts of stuff in there, and someone needs to help the right stuff come out in them.

Turn them into human beings, instead of just letting whatever bubble to the top depending on what kinda folks they are forced to deal with.

Still think the little **** got what he deserved. Lucky the lummox didn't stomp 'im a couple times.

Bet he ain't so quick to throw his hands at somebody's face again.

I taught my kid how and when to defend herself, and how to figure right from wrong.

She never started a fight, but she never let anyone push her around, and never let the bullies mess with anyone when she was around.

She's teaching her kids the same way to be. Makes me proud. Maybe the crap I went through was worth it.

Most of the people I've ever had problems with in real life were short men. The kid that started that sh*t is the one that needs counseling.

I'd ask how many other times it's been filmed for the kids peverted enjoyment? This time the video's been shown to get him into trouble.

Yes, he went too far - because he didn't know how to fight back or what to do once he'd started. The "fault" lies with the kid who started what was obviously an ongoing campaign of bullying.

Isn't this whole thing just further proof that bullying/abuse etc has to be stopped. It's a vicious nasty cycle. It never should have hit the internet, it should have been confiscated by the teachers or principle and dealth with among the teachers, parents and 2 boys.

Of course the skinny little twerp looked like he would do anything for attention and I have to wonder if he wanted to be filmed. Regardless it's awful kids are pushed to the limits they are, those boys aren't going to be in the public eye for a very long time. Maybe this could be an example lesson and used in a good way to promote bully awareness. I saw on another side there is now some dumb cartoon game already glorifying this.

When I was a lad in about the 7th grade I too had been picking on until I snapped. It took three teachers to pull me off the other boy or I'm sure I would have harmed him badly. I felt terrible at the beating I gave him since it was much worse that anyone deserves.

Pushing any human ,at any age, until they respond with rage is dangerous as all hell since it's the primal brain that is controlling your actions. That part of your brain that says "kill or be killed" .

Out of interest, what was the official reaction towards you after the incident?

Not much different except the other kids that were bullying me left me alone. I soon became withdrawn since I had no idea that I could behave like that which worked out ok since my Navy dad got stationed to a states side post shortly thereafter.

The parents of the lad I thumped told my folk's they had warned their son that his behavior was heading him for trouble.

So you weren't held responsible for the incident and expelled?
