While I'm asking questions, I also noticed under "My Tools", there's a 'spy' button. What's that for? I clicked on it, and it didn't really do anything.

Spy's been disabled for a while, it was possibly being glitchy. Something certainly was. Maybe we could try Spy again.

Points are an aspect of forums which appear to amuse some members while leaving others cold. They arise, I'm told, through forum activity. I actually have the controls here under an Admin button, one can set the number of points for each behaviour. I'd hate to think that anyone effectually responded to such bribes. Make a post, get a point. Make a referral, get a couple of hundred points. If points actually attract people I'll set the referral reward to any level you recommend.

Here you are, this is what the control looks like. That pull-up menu goes on for lots of possible actions.

I've set the points per post to 4, points per new thread to 30 and points per referral to 500 to get it moving.
