Sad thing about a bought peace is not a true peace eh AC?. True peace is based on mutual respect and cooperation and a desire for it. Not oppression, blackmail and corruption. I guess Mubarrack and his people were the only ones who allowed this to happen because now with him gone Egypt is going to open Gazas border if it hasn't been done already. In Egypt the main power now is the army and from what I understand it is all but self sufficient. No doubt there will be some kind of retaliation if Egypt doesn't toe the line with Israel but then there's some countries that would surely like to get a few M-1 tanks for test purposes. Not to mention a few other goodies.

A move long overdue.

I guess the immediate impact is going to be the Gaza blockade. Israel was making a lot of money on the taxes it imposed on goods coming into Gaza. I guarantee those taxes will largely disappear. Of course Americans will be expected to make up the difference.
