Have you ever consulted a medium? Do you believe that some people have an ability to predict the future? Or do you dismiss this kind of thing?

Yes, I have consulted one or two over the years, would never go back to either of them. Some are good but I think some of the ones trying to make a living from it solely can be suspect. I prefer to deal with mediums on a friend to friend basis personally.

I know some people believe it all to be claptrap but for those that do believe it can be a great comfort and a help to them.

I tend to be open minded, I don't believe they can correctly predict a future but I do believe that certain people have premonitions. The question is whether they correctly interpret such premonitions.

I have known one or two but I have never consulted one professionally.

To hear their friends talk their every pronouncement is absolute truth but I suspect selective memory drops the predictions that did not come to pass.

I know one on a casual social basis that I hadn't seen for a while, saw him recently and he was using a stick having fallen off a ladder while repairing his roof. To our credit none of us burst out laughing but it was too hard not to smile just a little.

We have one in town that has been opening her shop and then having to close it for lack of business. Then she'll open up at a new location a year later.

You would think that after 6 tries, she'd be able to read the tea leaves.
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

Folks who'd like to copy my intellectual work should expect to pay me for it.:-6

I think there are some with a gift; most I think are scamming people. I also believe in the power of suggestion.
