A little bit about myself? Hmmmmm.

I am a military wife with 3 kids. My oldest is almost 20 and my youngest is 7. Yes, my husband is deployed.

I am NOT a GW fan. I am against the death penalty. I am for gay rights. Oh, and I am Pro Choice.

I am a dog lover, so if you need advice on training, behaviour, nutrition, etc for your dog - just drop me a line!

Welcome! :-6

Lots of animal lovers here. We even have a forum for it, in case you haven't found it yet.

Get comfortable & have fun. I'd love to discuss the other issues & explore where we agree & disagree.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

I belong to a couple of other forums but lately I have found that I am rather, ummm, shall we say, loudly opinionated on topics political and no one seems to appreciate my voicing them.

It is great to find a site where opinions on hot topics don't turn into a battlefield or get deleted out of hand! And from the threads that I have posted in, I see that I had better have my ducks in a row before I type. :D

Hey Lilac! Welcome to FG. From your intro post, I can think of about 12 arguments, off the top of my head, that you and I could have! What fun!

All opinions are welcome in FG, and pretty much the only stuff that gets deleted out of hand is SPAM. (That, and really bad cuss-words. THERE'S a story I could tell you!!)

We can get as heated as any other forum, but we all care about each other for the most part, even when we disagree. It's a great place, and you'll be addicted real soon.

Enjoy, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you! :yh_peace

I'm an Air Force Officer, so that's one thing we have in common!

I am NOT a GW fan.

Fine by me!

I am against the death penalty.

I was in the Air Force 20 years ago. It seems I had a hard time with authority figures (I really didn't mean to tell of that Navy Lt.!) and was ever so grateful for that honorable discharge when I got married and pregnant! LOL!!

Hey - my younger daughter owns a cat and I like him fine. I just prefer a dog for company. Probably because they listen better.:p
