The Little Things
Just wanted to share one of the "little things" that make the MOST of my days!!!! My little 3 yr old just woke up and I heard the patter of little running feet approaching on the wood floor behind me.....and then there she was at my side here at the computer--my little Mandy Mae. She has long brown hair and such a sweet little face. I said "Good morning" and she said the same...and when I asked how old she is she said "Fwee yizzz oooodddde" and held up about 5 fingers!!! How I love my children so!!!!!!

Print that post and put it on the wall to remind yourself that it's all worth it, when the inevitable challenges come. :-6

you're tearing up, aren't ya? Come on, you can admit it. I think I detect a tear in the corner of your eye. :-6

Oh yeh. That's right. Sometimes the pressure differential forces liquids out some of the larger pores. completely understandable.

I was!! It made me think of my oldest.....just 8, will be 9 next month....but so many years are already gone forever. I loved how his little feet used to look like blocks they were so chubby.......this morning he woke early and climbed into our bed to see his pug dog that sleeps with us...and as he lay next to me I noticed how the hair on the nape of his neck still grows sweeping to the side and I smiled. This was one of the first things I noticed about him at his birth and said "Well we won't get this one mixed up!" Today he is at school--3rd grade and he is stressed out because this is a full week of SAT testing all day. He wants to do well. His life has only just begun!

What a wonderful way to start your day!
I find myself trying to remember all of the little things that my son is doing that are sweet so that I can share them with my DH. He is missing so many new things.
Q has his first girlfriend! He is 7 and in 2nd grade. When he told me about her, he told me that he couldn't wait until 5th grade because then he could kiss her! I swear I have no idea where he came up with this, but he says he "just knows".
