Negative Nancy

How come people have to always look at the negative side of things? Why can't we take life as it comes and look at the positive side??

I can't really go into detail why I am upset at this time, it can be a general discussion about a line between being careful/cautious or just afraid of the unknown.

I've always done the right thing, well not always but for the most part-a good person, love life to the fullest even though I've been dealt some crappy hands at times. I seem to always have people around me who want to steal my thunder, I'm happy and bouncy and BOOM-shoot me down with a word.

Why is this?

stop hanging out with that person. I gradually cut ppl like that out of my life. Tey never see it coming until one day we just dont see eachother anymore. I surround myslef with positive.

Great idea. I do that, as well.

The hardest to cut are family members, but life is too short to dwell in their swamp.

I get negativity from people sometimes ....I always ask them why they think the way they do .

(Oh and if it's about me you can tell peeps . It might be better if more people knew then you'd feel safer etc.)

Normally I would do it in a heartbeat, not able to do it in this particular situation right now.

Family is harder. Sometimes you just have to let them live in their own negative lives. Ive cut my dad out twice and my sister once. They've come around but Im sure it will happen again, Good luck!
