I know a woman who was brutally raped many years ago and Is still tortured to this day.

One of the things that tortures her mind is the.... 'If only I hadn't taken that route, If only I didn't do this, If only I had done that' etc etc.

Infuriating. If she lived in a decent society SHE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO TAKE A CAB HOME!!! This is societies problem, not hers. That guy needs to be slapped upside the head.

In a perfect world a woman should be able to walk down the darkest alley naked and no man has the right to touch her. Alas, we live in a very, very imperfect world.

In my opinion any person accused of commiting a crime should have their day in court which is their constitutional right.

However once they have been found guilty of murder, rape, armed robbery & any other serious crime, their rights should end there and then. Killing, raping and robbing people takes away the the victim's rights and in the case of murder ... takes them away forever.

The death penalty was a deterrent ... bring it back, sooner the better.
