What's With the Snow!

It is still October, and it is getting ready to snow here-flakes are trying to make it to the ground, they said maybe 1-3" here this afternoon. Way too early for snow!

Kathy, is it snowing up there?

I heard a big flock of Canada geese flying over last night, we'll probably get snow very soon here too. It usually snows on Halloween.

What a heathen environment you all inhabit. Here in England we're further north than any part of the Contiguous United States but it's a low of 55 degrees overnight outside.

The cold weather contributes to our heathen way of life. Dancing naked under the full moon tends to get a little chilly this time of year though.

Oh, low of 55 spot! And I was so toasty warm in L.A. last weekend and tanning in 93 degrees. I now have my thermals on.....

It's been snowing here for a couple of hours.

The trees still hold

Onto their fall colours.

This is insane

It's snowing!

and worst yet we are expecting gale winds up to 25 miles an hour.

I like snow. I like It In that Individual, white flakey type way .

I like It all the more when Britain grinds to a halt because of a flurry.

Only rain and low 40F here in Virginia today. I love when it snows on a Friday night and I don't have to go anywhere until Monday morning and can enjoy it without having to stress over it. Alas, the fates conspire against me and it usually snows heavily on Sunday evenings or so it seems!
