I've had this weird phobia lately of pregnant woman... I don't like being around them... they make me nervous to look at... and even their clothes make me antsy... It's like the whole idea... well it grosses me out... i've seen a lot of shows that i watch with mom about preggo chicks and it like... well i'm positive i could be single for the rest of my life! i work at a daycare and find myself avoiding babies and pregnant woman... which i happen to work with one... and i try not to be near her at all costs
anyone else ever feel this way? will i grow out of it ya think?

Smoke signals ftw!

gday skittles long time no see. Yeah it's normal for your age . A lot of pressure is put onto women at certain age groups and subconsciously young females will turn off the idea of ever 'looking like that' . And especially working in daycare you've got as many kids as you need at the moment . plenty of time for you to be thinking of all that stuff.
My sons ex girlfriend was exactly like you are , she was quite rude if a pregnant woman came anywhere near her. (which suited me cause I didn't want her bearing any of my grandkids lol lol lol )
you'll be fine .

My phobia is life-long and I'm much too old to overcome it. The idea of a baby growing inside a womb is akin to an alien parasite leeching the nutrients from the host's body while it quickly becomes so big, the host is in constant distress. Probably didn't help that I heard about my mother's 79 day labor pains (slight exaggeration) while I was growing up... a lot.

No, just respect
Tell me, Is It the sight of a pregnant woman that revolts you or the Idea of what they did to get to that condition?
Is It possibly jealousy?

I think I'm the same age as Oscar and I say "preggers". I don't see what the big deal is.
