I thought I'd just messed up posting the first time, but it's happened again - I've posted, submitted - and when I go to look a few minutes later - no post.
Or have I missed something and people can ban you from commenting in their threads? I'm not aware of having upset anyone that much, but maybe I have...

Um, yes. I replied on this thread to spot to say thank you about half an hour(I think) ago. The post DID appear briefly, but it has gone now.

There was another on Lon's "Just finished a good book" thread. I reposted in similar vein and that is still there. Might be helpful since there are only two replies visible on the thread.

I have been unable to see any sign of the posts being removed by any mechanism I know of so for the moment I'm stumped.
If you can, for a short while, save a copy of each of your posts before you post them and send me the text of any that then disappear then maybe I can trawl the database to see what has happened to the text at that level.
