One teacher Is left with a broken leg and the other a dislocated kneecap.
My humble opinion Is that this will just get worse due to private companies being brought In to carry out OFSTED reports and the new proposals to fine schools who exclude ( expel ) pupils.
When I was at school, this rarely happened but today, hundreds of children are excluded from state schools due to these kind of attacks.
In my school, discipline was the key but we were not beaten, shouted at or Intimidated. We respected our teachers and wanted to Impress them.
I read somewhere once that a good teacher stays In the mind of a child forever.
In today's education system, a school Is given a bad OFSTED report for too many exclusions. Bad OFSTED report equals cuts In the schools budget.

I wish there were more details, I can't imagine how a 10 year old could incapacitate two adult women. I'm in my 50s and I feel pretty confident I could take on a prepubescent child.

The story is very badly written.
One of the victims suffered a broken leg and a suspected dislocated kneecaps.
'A' suspected dislocated kneecap'S' ?
I would think the boy possibly pushed a bench or something that the women were sitting on.
Causing them to fall forward onto their knees, one falling across the other, or some other Chaplinesque carry on.
Or he might have swung a cricket bat in an arc toward them, clipping them at knee height.
It is an alleged attack with bugger all details.................details might otherwise spoil a fantastic headline.

It Is entirely possible....
I live next door to a primary school. A few years ago, a single woman moved Into the street and had a 5 year old that If you saw him, you'd say ' awww bless how cute'.
He started at the school and to cut a long story short, his mother had to be phoned constantly to go and collect him because he was so disruptive to other children.
When he kicked off, he would go Into a blind rage hitting out at anyone. He was a tiny child but one day, he went Into over-drive on the head teacher and because teachers are very wary of physically restraining children for fear of being accused of assault, there was little she could do. He kicked her so hard, he broke her wrist and her fingers.... so yes, It Is possible......
