A New Way to Cook?
I bought one of these Halogen cooking devices for Xmas and have been delighted with the most excellent results. BTW---- I am not promoting or marketing the brand shown in the following illustration, in fact, mine is a different company.
Has anyone else tried one of these?

I did a top roast with potatoes, carrots, onions, capsicum, celery and it was all done in 45 minutes. Meat was juicy and tender and veggies were perfect. I did a whole chicken that was equally good and a whole salmon as well. You can grill, fry, steam etc. with this machine and it is very energy efficient with easy cleanup.

For me it's the results that count. A great tasting and good looking meal is paramount and I am always looking for easy ways to prepare a meal and then have simple cleanup which leaves more time for other activities that I enjoy more.

I enjoy cooking and I think for me when I cook using every pan in the cupboard etc the food tasts better because all the effort / time it took.

Do you use a microwave oven for preparing any part of your meals? Do you prefer cooking with gas or electric? On average, how many pots and pans would you use in preparing an evening meal for four people and how much preparation time for your evening meal?

Sorry for my late reply... But actually we might in the near future
We have a couple of quails (chinese quails) in our back garden, at the moment they are laying quite a few eggs and mummy seems to be taking good care of them.. If this is a succes we are thinking about eating them..
Before i get bOOed at: i'm better of eating my own quails, they have had a wonderful outdoor life with lots of different types of food and lots of space to run about.. I'm better of eating them knowing they had a good life then eating one of these chickens that have had as much space as a battery chicken.
