If I had seen these little balls on the sand, I wouldn't have known what to make of it! I loved the video, those little guys move so quickly and systematically ... very efficient!

That brings back memories! I grew up in San Diego and one of my favorite things to do when we went to the beach was try to catch sand crabs. They didn't make neat little sand balls like this though, you'd have to wait for a wave and then look for little holes in the sand.
